"Capt. Henry C. Raysor, one of the oldest citizens of Allendale, and one of its prominent landmarks, died suddenly at the home of his only daughter, Mrs. C.M. Hires, of Augusta, Ga. on Monday, August 18. Capt. Raysor was eighty-four years of age and led an active life up to the time of his death.
