| Son of George Raysor and Ann
Sisson Stokes. Graduated 1861 from The Citadel in
Charleston, South Carolina. Served in the 11th South
Carolina Infantry during the Civil War. Was captured
and imprisoned in Delaware at the end of the war.
He married Bellzora Bowyer . Both
are buried in the St. George (UDC) Cemetery in
Dorchester County, SC. |
