Robert Delzell (ca1800-1874) was born in Pennsylvania, later Licking County, OH, and settled near Morning Sun, Louisa County, Iowa. He married first Mary Huffman ( - 1840), and second Mary T. Patterson (1815-1891). the children by Mary Huffman were: James, Emeline, William, Harvey, Martha Ann, and Mary. The children by Mary T. Patterson were: Samuel, John H., Robert, and Sarah Margaret.
