Arrinda Victoria Edmundson-Martin

Arrinda Victoria was found in the 1860 and 1880 Census records in Tallapoosa Co. AL and in Chambers Co. AL in l870 with her husband and children.

Victoria was a great-grandaughter of Revolutionary War Lt. James Edmundson of North Carolina and his wife, Penelope Stanton through their son, Bryant Edmundson.

According to family history, Victoria was very short and could walk under her husband's extended arm. She was the mother of 6 children. Mary born in 1856, Charles F. born in 1859, John W. born in 1861, James B. born in 1862, Eutaula born in 1866, Thomas M. born in 1874.

Victoria applied for a widows pension in l9l0 in Polk Co. FL on James' Civil War Record.

The l9l0 Census for Polk Co. FL, taken in June of l9l0, shows Victoria as age 7l living in the household of her youngest son Thomas, his wife Vida, and 3 grandchildren.
