I would like to thank Cousin's Madge Looney Crane and Phillip L. Crane, for their immense commitment  to our early Looney's.  Information was gathered from their wonderful book "Most Distinguished Characters On The American Frontier. Vol 1 1998. This book is a must have for all descendants of this line.  You can email Phillip or his mother Madge for information on obtaining their book.
