To the Register appointed by Act of Parliament for Registering all Deeds Wills etc:

Registered the 2nd day of Nov 1734 at 11 o�clock in the forenoon.

A Memorial of Deed of Lease bearing Date the twenty-fifth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty-four between Edward Griffith of Cloonaghan in the County of Sligoe Gent. of the one part and Jones Irwin of Harristown in the said County Gent. of the other part by which said Deed of Lease recited that the said Edward Griffith for and in consideration of the yearly rents and Covenants therein mentioned did devise grant said land to farm such unto the said Jones Irwin his heirs and assigns the four quarters of land of Muckalta or by whatsoever name or names known in area mentioned distinguished in as large ample and beneficial manner as the same was formerly held and enjoyed by Mr. John Dirkes and his undertenants containing by estimate three hundred and sixty-five acres the same more or less premises lying and being in the the Barony of Lyney and County of Sligoe aforesaid to have and to hold said land and demesnes and premises (All Royalties Excepted) with their and every of their appurtenances unto the said Jones Irwin his heirs and assigns for and during the term of the natural life and lives of the said Jones Irwin party to these presents Lewis Irwin son of John Irwin of Tanrego in the County of Sligoe Esq. and William Johnston son of John Johnston of Clooneran in the County of Mayo Gent. and the longer liver of them. The said Jones Irwin his heirs and assigns expecting and paying therefore and thereout to the said Edward Griffith his heirs and assigns the clear yearly rent of Eighty pounds this to be paid on every first of November and first of May in every year during the said term over and above all Quit Rent taxes or other impositions with right of distress and Re-entry and a Covenant that the said Edward Griffith his heirs and assigns shall and will at any time during the said term at the reasonable request proper cost and charges of him the said Jones Irwin his heirs and assigns shall renew the said Lease or perfect make and execute any other lease of the said premises unto the said Jones Irwin his heirs and assigns for the utmost term that shall be in his the said Edward Griffith power at anytime hereafter during the said Edward Griffiths life at and under the same yearly rents Covenants provisions exceptions conditions and agreements therein contained as also clauses of surrender and other clauses and Covenants in the said Deed of Lease which said Lease is witnesses by John Irwin of Tanrego in the County of Sligoe Esq. Michael Chamberlain of the City of Dublin Gent. and Henry Irwin of Harristown in the County of Sligoe Esq. and this Memorial is witnessed by the said Henry Irwin and George Ormsby of Sligo in the County of Sligoe Gents.

The above named Henry Irwin came this day before me and made oath that he is a witness to the Execution of the Deed of Lease of which the above is a Memorial as also to the above Memorial and that he saw the said Deed of Lease duly signed sealed and delivered by the above named Edward Griffith and Jones Irwin and also the above Memorials by the said Jones Irwin and that the name Henry Irwin signed as a witness to the execution of the said Deed Of Lease and above Memorial is this Deponents proper hand writing. The above affidavit was sworn before Henry Mara a Master Extraordinary appointed for taking affidavits in the Country before us the undernamed two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace of the County of Sligoe at Sligoe this third day of August 1734. [Signed] John Irwin Edw. Soden
