Memorial of an indenture of lease bearing date the tenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and three and made between Robert Croker Esquire of Scart in the County of Tipperary of the one part and Martin Galliher and Denis Gallaher both of Boherash in the County of Cork Farmers of the other part whereby the said Robert Croker did demise unto the said Martin Galliher and Denis Galliher all that and those that part of the land of Boherais aforesaid then held by Thomas Connell and under tenants containing by common estimation thirty two acres To hold unto the said Martin Galliher and Denis Galliher their heirs executors Administrators and assigns from the twenty fifth day of March which will be in the year one thousand eight hundred and fourteen for and during the term of thirty-three years at and under the yearly rent of one pound twelve shillings Sterling for each and every plantation acre in said premises and in proportion for roods and perches the firest payment thereof to be made on the twenty ninth day of September which will be in the year one thousand eight hundred and fourteen. The witnesses to which said indenture of lease are Daniel Galliher of Ballynamongree and John Carey of Gurtancelig? in the County of Cork farmers and this memorial is witnessed by the said Daniel Galliher and William Pigott of Fermoy in the County of Cork publican. Signed and sealed in the presence of us the above Memorial being truly read and explained by us to the said Martin Galliher. Signed by Daniel Galliher and William Pigott.

The above named Daniel Galliher maketh oath that he is a subscribing witness to the indenture of lease of which the above writing in a memorial and to the above memorial respectively and saith that he saw the above named Robert Croker and Martin Galliher and Denis Galliher duly execute the said indenture of lease and that he also saw the said Martin Gallaher duly execute the above memorial which deponent first duly read and explained to the said Martin Gallaher and saith that the name Daniel Galliher subscribed as a witness to said lease and memorial is this deponent�s proper name and handwriting. Sworn before me at Fermoy in the County of Cork the 11th day of May 1811 a Commissioner of the Court of exchequer in Ireland for taking affidavit that I know deponent.�
