To the Register appointed by Act of Parliament for registering Deeds, Leases and so forth:

A Memorial of an Indented Deed or Article of Intermarriage bearing date the fifteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred thirteen and made Between Alexander Irwin of Muckelty, in the county of Sligo Esq. and Jones Irwin his son of the one part, John Irwin of Flower hill in said county Esq. and Margaret Irwin his sister of the second part and Richard P. Irwin of Streamstown and John Irwin of Mt. Irwin of the third part Reciting that a marriage was shortly to be had and solemnized between the said Jones Irwin and the said Margaret Irwin and reciting that the said Margaret Irwin was entitled under the Will of her father Richd. Irwin decd to a sum of one thousand pounds and reciting that the said John Irwin as one of the executors named in the Will of the said Richard Irwin in Consideration of said intended marriage did promise and agree to pay unto the said Jones Irwin the said Sum of one thousand pounds in manner following that is to say that he the said John Irwin should and would for the term of four years to be computed from the date of Said Deed pay unto the said Jones Irwin his Exec., Admins, or Assigns Sixty pounds a year being the interest of said sum of one thousand pounds and at the expiration of four years from the date of said Deed pay unto the said Jones Irwin his Executors, Admins or Assigns the sum of five hundred pounds and in one year after the remaining five hundred pounds Said sum and sums to be paid and payable out of the assets of the said Richard Irwin decd. with Interest and stating that in consideration of said intended marriage and of the said marriage portion and for securing a suitable maintenance of the said Margaret in case she should survive the said Jones Irwin and also in Consideration of ten shillings to the said Alexander and Jones paid they the said Alexander and Jones did for themselves did jointly and severally and for their heirs, executors and Admins. Covenant, promise and agree to and with the said Richard P. Irwin and John their Heirs, Execs. and Admins. That they should within twelve Calendar months or at any other time when called upon so to do by good and sufficient Conveyance grant and assign unto the said Richd. P. Irwin and John Irwin and the survivor of them All This the said Alexander Irwin Right, title and interest of in and to or out of two undivided third parts of the farm of Muckelty that part of the farm of Roo in the tenancy of the said Alexander Irwin the farm and lands of Knockmadoo and the Customs of the land of Tobercurry upon the trusts to and for the uses intents and purposes in Said Deed mentioned Viz. to permit and suffer the said Alexander Irwin during his life and after his decease, to permit and suffer the said Jones Irwin during his life to receive and take to his and their own use and benefit the rents aforesaid and profits of said several lands and customs of said fair and after the decease of said Jones Irwin in Case the said Margaret should survive him without issue to pay said Margaret out of the rents, issue and profits of said Lands and customs of said fairs the sum of Eighty pounds yearly by half yearly payments one every first day of May and first day of November during her natural life, as and of her jointure in lieu and satisfaction of all thirds and dower land in Case she should survive the said Jones Irwin having one or more children issue of said marriage to pay said Margaret the sum of Sixty pounds out of the rents issued and profits of said farms and customs and no more for her jointure in lieu and satisfaction of all thirds or dower the first payment of said payments to Commence and be made on the first day of said payments which shall next happen after the decease of the said Jones Irwin And Reciting that ins Case the said Jones Irwin died in the lifetime of the said Alexander Irwin that and in such Case the said Margaret should be paid the sum of Sixty pounds a year during the life of the said Alexander Irwin in Case the said Margaret should not wish to live and reside with the said Alexander Irwin And reciting that the Said Alexander should have power to charge said farms and customs of said fairs with a sum of Six hundred pounds and with a jointure of fifty pounds a year out of the three sums grass, three acres of land for tillage and meadow and the old house of Muckelty Rent free on his wife Sarah Irwin and whenever the said Sarah Irwin should become entitled to receive the sum of fifty pounds a year settled upon her by Deed then the said Sarah Irwin to have and take at and for her jointure in place of Said sum of fifty pounds a year chargeable on said farms of Muckelty, Roo, Knockmadoo and the Customs of said fairs but thirty pounds a year And Reciting that the said Alexander Irwin did Covenant for himself his Execrs. Admins. And assigns to and with the said Jones Irwin his Execr. and assigns that he the said Jones should and might have take and receive all such sums of money as were due and owed by Netevelle Davis Esq. unto the said Alexander Irwin and also such property as the said Alexander Irwin should have or be entitled to at the time of his decease and reciting that the said Alexander Irwin during his life should and would support and maintain the said Jones Irwin his wife and family with dues and lodging in the house of Muckelta and in which said Deed is contained a Covenant for further assurances thereon of which Said Deed by the Executing parties thereto is witnessed by James Irwin of the City of Dublin, Gent. Attorney at Law and by Arthur Irwin of Kilmore in the County of Sligo, Esq. and the Execution of this Memorial by the said Alexander Irwin, Jones Irwin and Margaret Irwin is witnessed by the said Arthur Irwin and by Smyth Brennan of the Castlecooly in the County of Sligo.

The within named Arthur Irwin maketh oath and saith that he is a subscribing witness the the deed of which the within Writing is a Memorial, and saith he was present and saw the Executing parties therein duly Sign, Seal and Execute the same and Saith he was also present and saw the said Alexander Irwin, Jones Irwin, and Margaret Irwin sign, Seal and Execute this Memorial and Saith the name of Arthur Irwin set and Subscribed as a Witness to said Deed and to this Memorial is this Deponents proper name and handwriting.

Sworn before me at Ballyara in the County of Sligo of this 4th day of April one thousand eight hundred and fourteen by Virtue of a Commission to me directed for taking affidavits in the County and I know the Deponent.
