-- Died. -- Mr. Ernest Plautz, at his home in this town on
Sunday afternoon at 2:30, inflammatory rheumatism being
the cause of his death.  Deceased was born in Germany in 1830,
emigrated to this country in 1860, was a soldier in a Wisconsin
regiment during the war of the rebellion.  After the war closed
he moved to this county where he resided up to the time of his
death.  He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his loss.
Mr. Plautz was a kind husband and father and beloved by all his
neighbors.  The funeral took place from the Lutheran church
Tuesday afternoon and was largely attended.
