Remfry Coat of Arms

This coat of arms was granted in 1841 to George Farrell Remfry, his male descendants and the male descendants of his father, Thomas Gerrans Remfry.

Paul Martin Remfry provided this illustration with the comment that it is the original coat of arms of the  barons of Kendal, Roger Remfry d.1199 and his successors Gilbert Remfry and William Remfry. Paul notes that the lion in the corner is often a sign of bastard descent from King Henry I.
