The Lanier Family Genealogy Page.

These pages are dedicated to ancestors and decendants of James Jefferson Lanier whose family was among the Laniers of Bryan and Muscogee Counties, Ga. who migrated to Alabama. This James "Jim" Lanier settled in the Pigeon Creek area of Westover in Covington County, Alabama near the Butler County line. These pages are also dedicated other members of that family who migrated to Fla, Miss and Texas from that same Georgia area.
