She was born about 1804 in North Carolina. About 1819 she married Basil Jefferson, born 1797
in Virginia. At the 1850 census they were domiciled in Forsyth Co., GA., he aged 53 born in VA., and she Elizabeth aged 46 born in NC. The following children were at home, all born in NC: Elizabeth aged 22; Mary aged 20; William aged 16; Francis M. aged 13; Martha A. aged 10; Thelbert aged 9; Sarah aged 6; and Reanzer aged 4. At that time no other Jeffersons nor Duvalls were living in Forsyth County. - page 553-554
