Everett Farnham's Manor House was built in early 1834, while Richfield was still a part of Medina County.  It is still standing at 4223 Brecksville Road, Richfield.  In September 1989, the Zaruba family purchased the old house and almost immediately began a restoration job.  Architectural research confirmed the dormer windows were not original and they found various other changes had occurred through the years.

This is a painting of the Heman Oviatt's house in Richfield, painted by J. Langford in 1975.  It was built in 1820 and still exists at 3798 Brecksville Road.

The Richfield Historical Society & Museum have a brand new and dynamic website that features up-to-date activities including the Veteran's History Project and the 2009 Bicentennial!  Check it out!!
