William Thomas CASEY [Parents] was born Aug 09 1817. He died Aug 09 1899. William married Mary Ann PHARR.

The old folks said that William Thomas Casey & his 3 brothers came from
Ireland.  He married Mary Ann Pharr in Dadeville, Alabama in Tallapoosa
County.  They lived in Sweetwater & Goodwaer where he practiced
medicine.  They left therejust before the Civil War.  They moved to Oak
Hill in Wilcox County.  He is buried there below Oak Hill at Rosebud.
His brother John is buried there also.

Mary Ann PHARR [Parents] was born Apr 11 1827. She died Nov 17 1894 and was buried in Bear Creek Cemetery, Wilcox County, AL. Mary married William Thomas CASEY.

John never married.  He was kind of a hermit who lived at Calledonia in
WilcoxCounty. (Lucille Casey remembered visiting him-a real good cook.
He cookedover a fire with an iron dutch oven-biscuits, fried chicken-all
delicious!)

Thomas CASEY was born 1858.

Tom Casey did not marry young.  He graduated from Highland Home College
and became a teacher.  He travelled around & married (after age of 30) to
a young pretty girl, Willie Richburg of Flomaton.  He ended up going from
Flomaton and Atmore on to Mississippi.  One daughter, May, lived in
Montgomery, Al  in the 1960's - 1970's.  She said her father got rooked
out of his land in WilcoxCounty-he was the executor at one time.  (Tom's
family felt as though he could havemarried better)

William James CASEY was born Jan 29 1860. He died Jun 04 1930.

J. W. was friendly-talked a lot.  An extremely religious man-sat on the
frontrow of the Baptist Church every service, but could not pray in
public.  Ada wasquiet and unassuming.  Both lived to be old.  Had a big
house beside Mt. Pisgah Church- a double-pinned house, real neat with
rows of pear trees.  They hada walk all the way to the road.

Emily CASEY was born 1863. She died 1909.

One of her sons married a wealthy widow McKlerkin in Wilcox County.  She
was older than him, but nice & lovely.  A daughter, Lizzie, died at 22
years probably of appendicitis and is buried at Mt. Pisgah.
Another child is buried in Thomasville, GA.
A son, Buford in Ft Myers, Fl
Nora, buried in Georgiana by Grady Harwell's at the cemetary
