MT. TABOR CEMETERY
Catalogued June 7, 1975 by Mr. & Mrs. Keith Robbins of Sabin,
Wisconsin. Located west of a town road 0.3 mile north of County Trunk
E, west. The site lies on a hillside area west of the road in section
14, Town of Sylvan. It has often been referred to as the Sabin
Cemetery. The nearby village, now declining with the times, once
contained a post office building, store, blacksmith shop, cheese
factory and a Christian Church. A Methodist Church once stood
immediately north of the cemetery. The grounds are well kept. The first
known burial was in 1856.
