SAND PRAIRIE CEMETERY
Catalogued April 29, 1975 by H. A. Dieter. Located one and one-half
miles west of Junction Wis. 60 and County Trunk X in section 34, Town
of Richwood. The cemetery is in good condition and has a border of
small pines on three sides with two large pines about midway. The first
known burial was in 1856. There are twelve broken or unmarked stones.
This section of prairie country has left it's indelible marks along the
way. Again a true testimony to the long years from pioneer to modern
day living.
