Peter Lockman

Peter Lockman immigrated from Nova Scotia and like his father was a miner. He enlisted in the Union Army at Peytona, WV, was at Charleston and was discharged as a 1st Sargeant on Sept. 10, 1862. He was with the 7th WV Cavalry. At the time of enlistment he was 5'10" tall, blue eyes and gray hair on November 6, 1861.  You can read more about the Lockman ancestors in the Lockman Genealogy Reports.  Pictures of two Lockman descendants can be found on page four of the Photo Album.
