Notes for Ann DEASON
At the time of Ann’s baptism in 1782 the family was noted as living at Tresco.

At the time of William’s baptism in 1786 his father, William, was noted as a “labourer”.

At the time of their marriage in 1812 William was noted as a “bachelor” and “labourer” and Ann a “spinster”, both were of Tresco. They were married by banns dated by David Evans; Ann made her mark “X”; William did not; minister: Rev David Evans, witnesses: Thomas Deason, Edward Lakey and Thos. Jenkin.
Note: Baxter research (1975) records marriage date as 8 January 1812, Duff research (2006) records 12 January.

At the time of Ann’s burial in 1841 she was noted as aged 58 years and from Tresco.

At the time of William’s burial in 1867 he was noted as age 80 years and from Tresco.
