Mary was from Tresco.

At the time of their marriage in 1735, both Thomas and Mary were recorded as being from Tresco.3

At the time of the baptism of their daughters, Elizabeth, 1735 and Mary, 1737 and Grace 1753, the family was noted as living at Tresco.3

Mary married John Chapman, 3 January 1743, Isles of Scilly. Mary was noted as a “widow” and both from St Mary’s. This indicates that Thomas Deason must have previously died.3
