In 1913 Arthur emigrated to the USA; departing 28 June 1913, Liverpool, England; and arriving New York on the Campania. The ship’s records noted:

Note: Arthur’s destination was his uncle, Jacob Curnow and his family, Auld Farm, Perkins Hill, Akron, Ohio.
Francis arrived in the USA at some stage in 1913; but not on the same ship as Arthur. They probably married later in 1913 as a later Census noted Arthur’s age at marriage as 29 years.
In 1920 Arthur and Francis were still living with the Curnows in Akron, Ohio as noted in the Census:
