George CHARLTON [?CHALTON] born about 1826-1830, probably Windsor
Berkshire England. Parents Thomas CHALTON and Sarah BALL. George married
in Grafton NSW Australia in 1858. I have struck a brick wall with George's
birth, and his parents' marriage.

My lost ancestor is a doozy, here he is
Born as John LEVRETT
merri creek area of Melbourne 1847
baptised St James Cathedral C of E Melbourne 1847
(He had a brother James Levrett born NSW 1846)
parents names WILLIAM and MARY
family stories say he was in an orphanage in Melbourne
married as WILLIAM ERNEST LEVITT
1891 Beechworth Victoria to
MARY WINIFRED PAYNE
died Wangaratta Vic 1935
burried Tarrawingee

Looking for Robert MONTGOMERY, brother of Mary MONTGOMERY born in Scotland, 
and uncle of my husbands with the same name. Brother of Mary was of a family of 13 children. He was called, Rolls, as a nick name. Both born in Glasgow, brother moved to Australia in the late 20's. Might not be alive, but could have cousins. hoping to be hearing from you.

William WRIGHT and his wife Jane NIXON. Jane arrived in Sydney NSW
Australia in 1830 to join her husband. Later records suggest that William
may have been a Clerk at the Hyde St. Barracks. There may also be some
connection with the Leicestershire 17th Regiment posted to Sydney around
1830. I haven't been able to find their marriage or the death of either
Jane or William. Family history suggests that they "adopted" their son
William Bloomfield WRIGHT who was born in Sydney about 1834. There is no
record of his birth.
