Obituary for George Edward Stark

George Edward Stark, 78, 145 West 5878 South, died August 10, 1976, in a Salt Lake hospital following a short illness. Born April 10, 1898 in Naverton, Pennsylvania to George and Margaret Steele Stark. Married Elvera Sacos, June 25, 1936 in Sandy, Utah. Retired after 33 years, Army Air Force. Retired after 20 years with the Federal Reserve Bank.

Survivors: wife; son, daughters: George Byron, Murray: Mrs. Jerry (Deanna) Dewsnup, Mrs. Larry (Susan) Johnson, both Sandy; 8 grandchildren.

Services Saturday, 12 noon, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, where friends may call 1 hour prior to services. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.

George Edward Stark was preceded in death by an infant son Kevin Peter Stark. He died at approximatey 3 months of Pneumonia. Buried at Sandy City Cemetery.
