HELP HUMESTON BUILD A GROCERY STORE!

HELP HUMESTON
Build A Grocery Store

Mormon Trail Chamber and Development
is trying to establish
a Grocery store for the
Humeston, Derby, Garden Grove,
Cambria, and LeRoy area shoppers.

The land on Front Street (Hiway 65) across from the WoJo Cafe
(the former Jimmie's) has been leveled,
and the outer part of the building is nearly complete.

Affiliated Foods Midwest will be the supplier of grocery items
for the new store for a trial period.

The board is also looking for freezers
and other equipment for the store.

The groups' goal is $150,000.

Can you help?

For The Serious Investor:

The Grocery Committee is recommending that the shares be sold for $100.00 each.
By purchasing 5 shares a person becomes a voting member of the board
that will make the final decisions. People need to check
with their estate planner, or attorney, but we have been told
that a share or membership certificate would be the same as cash for
a person wanting to "GIFT" cash from their estate to their heirs.
They could buy a share for their children, or grandchildren, and
it would be the same as a cash gift.

Donations:

Simple donations are also very welcome.
Even if you don't live here, the community would appreciate
your support in this venture. There hasn't been a grocery
store in Humeston since 2000.
We need to keep our people here, or the town may
dwindle away and dry up like a lot of small towns have.
