Established 16 April 1893 as the Congerville Baptist Church

Name changed to 17th St Baptist Church in 1897

1910 - name and location changed to Walnut St Baptist Church - located on northeast corner of 12th (current day Memorial) and Walnut Streets

24 June 1972: New Building, New Name and New Location - Shawnee Heights Baptist Church - Fuson Rd, south of Muncie
