This album was created in the 1940s by
Norma Haas Robbins. It contains postcards from Walt's time in
Europe, and the various Army bases he was stationed while in the States. - Page 27A is a card from August Haas to his daughter Norma, 24 June 1943 - from Washington, Pennsylvania - Most of the postcards are unsent |
The album as received: - Acc002794 - Images of Album Pages: Ph10158.jpg (34 images, 36 pages) (See Below) (These are just point and shoot images to show position of the cards) - Page Files: Doc1750-001-036.pdf (See Below) |
- After photographing the pages as I
received them, I removed and marked each card with a number, i.e.
1-A, 1-B, etc - After scanning each card, most front and back, I placed the cards from each page in an acid-free enclosure marked with the page number - All the packages of cards were then placed in another, larger acid-free enclosure and stored - I saved and stored the album front cover |
Legend: 1. Click thumbnails for larger image of original pages - Image will open in a new tab 2. Click the Doc links for detailed images of the cards, front and back 3. The Descriptions below include English translations (Bold) of the Foreign cards (Google Translate) |
