This Website is provided as a group effort by an informal E-mail list of descendants of George Roberts. Its purpose is to share documents and family listings of the George Roberts family.
George Roberts I died in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, sometime between March and May 1773. His will lists two sons (George II and John) and four daughters (Dorothy, Sarah, Allie, and Mary). George II moved first to Sullivan County, North Carolina (which, after the formation of the state of Tennessee, became known as Hawkins County, Tennessee), then apparently to St Tammany Parish, Louisiana, which is where he died in 1809. From there, his eleven children and their descendants spread across several southern states.
If you are on a slow connection, caution: some of these files are large.
