According to Joyce Morrell, George Lawson claims that Hannah Holder was at least part Cherokee, "our Indian blood comes from the Ingram line. An early day Ingram settler in Virginia married a Cherokee girl, their son Daniel Holder Ingram married Nancy Burgess...."

According to Steven McCabe, Hannah's surname was Householder. Her daughter Elizabeth was buried in the Douglas (also called Summit) Cemetery in Salem, Knox Co., IL. There are several Householders buried there as well. 30 31 32

Born, County of Kent, Delaware, 1762. Lived in the Tygarts Valley section of Randolph County when the Revolution began. Enlisted there and served nine months as a private under Captains Friend, Jackson, Mascawell, under General George Rogers Clark scouting and doing guard duty on the western frontier. Certificate of pension issued in Randolph County, in 1833, but it was suspended in 1835. Supporting claims by Valentine Stalmaker and William Currence.
