August 21, 1909 - September 23, 2002 Edna Vivian Fear, 93, of Stayton, passed away on Monday, Sept. 23 at Pruett's Mt. View Care Home near Marion, where she had been living since August of this year.

She was born in Grand Junction, Colorado and moved to California when she was a teenager. She was a long time resident of San Diego before moving to Stayton in 1991.

She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her friends, especially at the senior center in Stayton. In the past she was quite involved in collecting antique bottles and oil lamps.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Harold Fear, her parents, Ray L. Miller and Lydia Frances Miller, and two sisters, Ethel Mae Swanson and Rena Nellie Grone.

She is survived by 5 children, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who live all across the country. At her request, no services will be held. Private interment will be in San Diego County at Alpine Cemetery, Alpine, California.

Debra A. MacVittie is a granddaughter of Edna Miller Fear. She married Jay P. MacVittie on 29 August 1971 in San Diego Co., CA. He was 20 years old and she was 19. Debra Ann Fear was born on 1 November 1951 in San Diego Co., CA. Her mother's maiden name was Miller. I don't know which son of Edna and Leslie Fear she was the daughter of yet. These may be her siblings:
