p. 564    1780, May 10: Lawrence, Samuel, Grantor; McClung, John, Grantee: 133 acres, south side of James River.
p. 978    Washington County: Ordered that Francis McClung be constable in the room of John Fane Court--1778.
p. 1047    Washington County Court, ordered that Alexander Doran be constable in the room of Francis McClung.
p. 1058    John McClung served on jury, Washington Co., Court 1780

p. 790     C. H. McClung, born in Greenbrier County, April 30, 1841. Confederate Service--private Co. C 19th Virginia Cavalry-1861. 1864 became adjutant of his regiment. Captured in the fall of 1864, prisoner at Camp Chase Ohio until the end of the war. He became Sheriff and Treasurer of Fayette County, W. Va. in 1877. In 1888 he moved to Meadow View, Washington Co., Va. Elected to House of Delegates in 1899.
