McClung, William came here in 1803, He served in the War of 1812 under Capt. George Sanderson. He was a state legislator. He died west of Rushville, 1876, age 83 years. (b. 1783)

p. 44 Timble, William came to Fairfield Co., Ohio from Cumberland Co., Ohio about 1800 and settled five miles N.E. of Lancaster where he died in 1829. His dau. Jane was the second wife of Judge Wm. McClung.
