Deed Bk A:159, dated 12 Mar 1825

David McClung lends $100.81 to Martin Shutter. Drury Stoval pays $1. Property for the use of David McClung: 81 gallon still, tools, 2 cows and calves, 1 bull and a roan mare, etc.

They were to sell this property to pay David and the balance to go to Martin Shutter.
(Maybe David was facilitating transfer of property after the death of Shutter's father?)

Indenture 28 May 1825. David McClung lends to James Morrow $106 dollars and 81 cents so that Drury Stovall could purchase items (apparently at an estate sale) cows, colt, hogs, etc.

Wm. B. McClellan paid to Charles McClung one dollar for "a Negro woman named Cloe and her female child being the same that Adison Camiks conveyed to me by Bill of Sale."

(Interesting that this was the time period that Alexander Montgomery McClung was administering the final arrangements for William McClung's demise.)

John McClung selling items to Carnes & Wear in trade for a parcel of land.

David McClung and Margaret, his wife, deed to John R. Gibson of the County of Morgan
$250 for land in South 1/2 of S.E. qtr of Section 17, Twp 8, Range 5W containing 80 acres more or less.
This was land patented by David McClung at Huntsville 25 Sept 1833.
Margaret was examined privily regarding dower rights.
