Could the James be a child of the James McClung who married Sarah Cleland? Someone help us out here.

Which McClung had Nancy been married to ? She was born in 1831 in GA so probably married her husband in Newton or Haralson County.

Margaret McClung64/FTN--b. 1796

These were people of means and probably didn't earn it with farming. Margaret is of the age to be the widow of one of the earliest men of Alabama. She is not the wife of James White McClung because that Margaret Patrick McClung remained in Huntsville. This Margaret left a will and appointed James W. as her executor and left her possessions to John C. who appears to be her youngest son.
