As you are surfing the web in search of ancestors, there are a few sites that you can't afford to miss, so here are links to those that I feel will be of the most help to you. Happy Hunting!!

CYNDI'S LIST OF GENALOGICAL SITES ON THE INTERNET
The reason my list can be short is because Cyndi Howell has already done the work for the rest of us. Her site has over 40,000 links arranged by topic, location, and just about any other breakdown you can imagine.

ANCESTRY.COM
This site is an absolute must for any serious genalogist. The free searches are woth the stop, and if you're willing to pay the minimal registration fee, there is a tremendous amount of data available here.

ABRUZZO2000 (The Italian's Page)
I was referred to this page by Al Porreca. If you have Italians in your ancestry, this is the place to start.

ROOTS WEB
This is a good place to start a search. Check out the Roots Web surname list. Roots Web claims to be the oldest and largest genealogical site on the Internet.

U.S. GENWEB PROJECT
This is the United States offering to the World GenWeb Project. There is a genweb cooridinator for virtually every county in every state. This is a good place to start in your local area, or if you are doing research in a county you are not familiar with.

WORLD GENWEB PROJECT
World wide version of the above. Haven't been on it any significant amount of time.

GENEALOGICAL SOFTWARE:

GenDesigner
This one has to come first because it's what I used to create all the individual listings on this site. It's easy to use although it doe's have a few flaws. It's shareware and registration costs $29.95. I urge you to register your copy if you decide to download it.
