Royer, p. 87, was married to Mary Hess,
Jan.
6, 1853. She died in 1854. His second wife was Eliza
Hess, sister
of Mary, whom he married Feb. 1, 1855. Eliza
was the mother of
his children. She died May 29, 1879. He later married Susan
B.
Neff, who was born June 5, 1852, and died May 8, 1908; aged 55
yrs., 11 mos., and 5 ds. She is buried beside her husband, in the
Byerland cemetery. Cyrus was a prominent manufacturer
of
woolen goods and yarns. The mill was located at Smithville, Lan-
caster co., Pa. He resided in his later years at Refton, same
