find in the court house at Dayton that philip E. Wampler
bought of David
Wampler, Sept 19, 1828, for $100, 8 A. of land, of N.
W. Quarter of Section
28, Twp. 2, of Range 6, e. of meridian of mouth of Great
Miami and 2 A. of S. E.
corner of N. E. quarter of Section 19, of same Twp. he
sold 50 A., Sept 29,1831
for $600. They were members of the Brethren Church as
were all but one of their
twelve children, who settled chiefly in and around Dayton.
