years after their marriage, leaving two children. After
the death
of his wife, David went to Florida, thence to the West,
where he
married as his second wife, Miss Leile Blanche McBride
of Jackson-
ville, Ark., Oct. 9, 1889. She died in 1901, having also
two chil-
dren. He was a railroader, had lived in St. Louis, Mo.,
but is now
said to be in Little Rock, Ark. Children:

V. JESSE ROYER, p. 178,
the subject of this sketch (sketch of A.
H. Huber) was the first of his father's family born in
Maryland.
He was married Mar. 27, 1828, to Susannah Eby b. July
19, 1806; d.
Sept. 4, 1878, at Center View, Mo., and there buried.
He sold his
farm in Carroll Co. in 1852 and removed to Preble Co.,
Ohio. Here
he was elected a minister of the Brethren Church, and
later ordained
an elder. He owned a farm near West Alexandria, but quit
farm-
ing long before his death, which occurred in his 84th
year, being the
last survivor of his father's family. He is buried e.
of East Alexan-
dria, Ohio. As has been heretofore said, much of the
