     VI. SAMUEL WEYBRIGHT, p. 204, m. Feb. 11, 1862 to, Mary Ann
Snader, dau. of Jacob of Sam's Creek, Carroll Co., Md. He was a
farmer on the homeplace, now retired in Detour (Double Pipe Creek),
Md. He is a deacon of the Brethren Church, and is well informed
on the history of his family. He has had eight children:

worth Saylor, Jan. 22, 1862, dau. of Eld. D. R. Saylor; formerly a farmer, now
a merchant at Thurmont, Md.; minister of B.; trustee and secretary of the
Board of Md. Collegiate Institute, Union Bridge, Md., from the beginning, now
Blue Ridge College, New Windsor, Md.; 2 ch.:

                                                  CHAPTER V.
 
     V. MARY ROYER, p. 178, married as her first husband, Jacob
Mering, b. Aug. 30, 1797; d. Feb. 13, 1863, of Carroll Co., Md. After
his death she visited Illinois, where she met and married a widower
named John Burgard, of Astoria, Ill. He also died leaving her a-
gain a widow. She died in 1879, aged 73 yrs. and 16 ds., at the
home of her nephew VI. John Royer, son of Rev. Christian, near
Westminster. She is buried at Meadow Branch. She was without
children.
