where she remained till her marriage, Mar. 16, 1869, to Ezra M. Bish,
b. Feb. 26, 1842, a son of William of Mt. Pleasant, Carroll Co. They
were married by Eld. Daniel P. Saylor, of the Brethren Church.
They took up house-keeping in the vicinity of Finksburg, from
thence to Hanover, York Co., Pa., at both of which places the hus-
band was engaged in marketing. About the year 1877 they took
charge of the Meadow Branch home farm, which after conducting
for ten years, they purchased and moved to the farm on the Little-
town turnpike, four miles west of Westminster. Since 1898 he has
been superintendent of the Farmer's Fertilizer and Feed Co. in
Westminster. They are members of the Brethren Church, of which
he is a deacon and in general a very valuable and useful member.
They have had four children:

Gist homeplace, 1 1/2 ms. S. of Westminster; she, Brethren; he, Methodist; 2 ch.:

     VI. JEHU ROYER, p. 208, was named after his father, whom in
many ways he resembled. He was married Nov. 21, 1871, to
Mary M., daughter of John and Mary Bowers of Westminster. The
ceremony was performed in St. Paul's Reformed Church, Westmin-
ster, by Rev. W. C. Kremer. Their bridal tour extended to Ohio,
among the grooms relations. Jehu is a farmer, occupying the Roy-
er home farm after the removal of Ezra Bish, but now occupies his
own farm two miles south of Westminster. They are members of
the Reformed Church. They have had a family of eleven children:
