IV. MARY ROYER, p. 223, m. John Singer. She had died before

1803, the date of her father's will. Her three children are men-

tioned in the will as heirs to their mother's portion. Singers are

also in the records in the court-house at Lewisburg, Union Co., Pa.,

as heirs of IV. Rebecca Royer Showalter, p. 223; sister of IV. Mary

Royer Singer. It is the impression of the editor that these Singer

heirs are stated to be living in Franklin Co., Pa., or Washington

Co., Md., the section of country to which IV. Christiana Royer

Frick and her children had moved. This is all that has been learned

of the Singer family. The names of the children are:

VI. Mary Singer.

CHRISTOPHER.

IV. CHRISTIANA ROYER, p. 223, was married twice. Her first

husband was III. Christian Zug, son of Eld. Hannas of Lanc. Co.

Christian died shortly after their marriage, about 1785. They had

one child, a daughter. Christiana married as her second husband

IV. Abraham Frick, b. June 20, 1759; d. Feb. 5, 1842. He resided

on the old Frick homestead near Neffsville, Lanc. Co., where he

died. She and her daughter, V. Maria, then moved to her son V.

John at Ringgold, Wash. Co., Md., where she died and is buried.

With Frick she had seven children. They are mostly Reformed

Mennonites and to her descendants is due the remarkable industrial

development of Waynesboro, Pa. Her children follow:
