IV. ELIZABETH ROYER, p. 340, was married Mar. 28, 1795,
to
John Yockey, b. Aug. 28, 1767. They settled in Franklin
Co., Pa.,
and there in the Falling Spring cemetery of the Brethren,
he is bur-
ried. They had two sons and one daughter, according to
their
Family Bible.

V. JOSEPH YOCKEY, p. 341, was married May 7, 1818, to
Nancy
Wertz, b. Nov. 21, 1797; d. May 24, 1832, dau. of Jacob
and Maria
Wertz. He was a farmer, likely about 2 1/2 miles n. w.
of Quincy,
Franklin Co. She was a member of the Seventh Day Brethren.

VI. SUSAN YOCKEY, p. 341, m. Mar. 3, 1840, to Dr. John
Burk
holder, b. at Chambersburg, Jan. 15, 1812; d. near Quincy,
Feb. 17,
1877. His mother, Catharine Fahrney, was a daughter of
Dr. Peter
and a sister of Dr. Jacob Fahrney, by whom he was initiated
into the
mysteries of the Fahrney pharmacopoeia. He succeeded
to his
uncle's large practice, and became one of the leading
physicians of
the country. Dr. P. Fahrney of Chicago was one of his
students.
She belonged to the Seventh Day Brethren and he to the
Brethren.
