V. JOHN ROYER, p. 353, m. Elizabeth Rupp, b. in Lanc. Co.,
June 6, 1802; d. Dec. 19, 1883. He was a farmer and resided on the
Trout Creek near Ephrata, where he died, aged 64 yrs., 4 mos., 18
ds. He and his wife were baptized into the Brethren Church in 18-
27. The Brethren Annual Meeting of 1846 was held on his farm.
He had five children:

Reuben and wife were baptized by B. in 1857. He left the farm
and moved to Ephrata where he operated a foundry. He died very
suddenly at Ephrata, aged 69 yrs. Children all by second wife:
