IV. MARIAH ROYER, DAUGHTER OF III. DANIEL
IV. MARIAH ROYER,(*) p. 352, was married to Abraham
Groff,(+) who was born in 1770.(?) He resided a mile
or so from Mas-
tersonville, Rapho twp., Lancaster co., where he died
in 1827.
She preceded her husband to the spirit world. The time
of her
birth and death could not be obtained, since she has
no tombstone.
Their remains rest in the old Groff family burying-ground,
on their
land, one mile from Mastersonville. After Mariah's death,
he
married as his second wife III. Barbara Zug, who was
born, Feb.
23, 1770; died Mar. 27, 1831; aged 61 yrs., 1 mo., and
4 ds. She was
the daughter of Christian Zug. See Zug Genealogy. She
had no
issue. Mariah Royer had a family of eight children,viz.:

born June 13, 1734
and died Dec. 1, 1819, not unlikely a son of Hans Groff,
the immigrant.
