d. Feb. 12, 1878, granddaughter of Gen. Nicodemus, a member of
Napoleon's staff; inherited 300 acres of the homefarm on which he
lived for a number of years, in later years lived with his sons, finally
after his wife's death going to S. Dak. to son George; he traced his
ancestry to Sebastian Royer, thus affording additional proof to our
