to medical literature, chiefly along the line of contagious diseases
and public health work, notably a chapter on Diptheria in Hare's
Modern Treatment, and on Municipal Sanitation.
 
CHAPTER IV.
 
V. ELIZABETH ROYER, p. 559, was married to Eld. Jacob Price,
b. Apr. 6, 1811; d. Oct. 19, 1883. She was his second wife. He
was a son of deacon Jacob Price, Sr., d. in Waynesboro, Pa., July
16, 1876, who was the son of John Price, p. , son of Daniel of
near Phila., Pa. Said John Price moved to near Waynesboro,
about the middle of the 18th century. Eld. Jacob Price and Eld.
Joseph Rohrer were ordained in one day in the Antietam church, in
1866, when said church was divided, the new congregation receiv-
ing the name of Falling Spring. The old Antietam meeting house
was built in 1795, and the new one, of brick, in 1892, at a cost of
$3000. Elizabeth had no children.
