  Sharon Gire [email protected] From: Michigan, originally Ohio My great grandmother was      Isabelle Royer, born in Coshocton or Zanesville, Ohio in 1872, died in 1933 in Columbus or at least is      buried there. She married John Dover born in 1870 in Zanesville, Ohio. They had at least two children,      Anna Luara Dover, my grandmother, and Lena Leota Dover. I believe they were Catholic and that the      Royers had a chapel in the area known as the smallest Catholic church. I am very interested in finding      any ancestors of my great grandmother and learning more about them. If anyone has information      which would help, I would appreciate your help. •      I'd like to locate Fanchón Royer or her family. In 1948, she published a book entitled The México We      Found, describing her experiences making educational documentary films in Mexico. She had three      daughters whose names in the book are given as: Sandra, Fanchón and Jacquelyn, surnamed      Gallagher. Her parents lived in Iowa. I'm doing some preliminary research for a possible essay or article      on foreigners who lived in Mexico in the 1940s and 1950s, and wrote books about their personal      experiences. • James Essman [email protected] From: Washington CH, OH I found      the surname married into the Royer family (Holzapfel) listed in the index of names on page 244 and 616.      It is unclear to me what to do next to see if my Barbara Royer (1828-1913) that married Leonard      Holzapfel is the same family line. If it is, I have good records on her descendants, but only know that      her father was Joseph Royer. I would like to know more about Barbara's ancestors, and share my      information on her descendants.

This information was found in a book entitled Michael Hillegas & His Decendants by      Emma St. Clair Whitney. It is not clear, but I believe we are tied to this tree through Eliza Anthony      Hobart who is suspected of being Henrietta Hillegas great granddaughter.  Any help you can provide      is appreciated.       Thanks.
  
• James.A.ROYER  [email protected] From: London UK now living in Perth, W.Australia I can trace my Huguenot lineage back to Guillaume Royer born in France 1690 and who emigrated to England. His son Jacques (James) was granted arms by the College of Arms in 1779 and features two lions and a dove. The crest is a dove with wings expanded and a golden crown around its neck and with an olive branch in its beak.
