His will was proved 18 Nov 1516. Among other bequests, he left to his bastard brother, Charles, £1.6s.8d yearly for life. He left his black velvet gown, guarded with a cloth of gold, for the use of the priest of the parish church of Over Peover, and £4.13s.4d to an honest priest to pray for his soul for four years in the same church. The £20 he left towards a new stone steeple was not put to use.
