He served in the War of the Revolution in Capt. Daniel Sacket's Company of Col. John Moseley's Hampshire County Regiment. The official state records show that he enlisted Oct. 21, 1776, and marched with his regiment, under Lieut. Colonel Timothy Robinson, to reinforce the Northern Army. The muster toll, giving date of his enlistment, is dated at Westfield. - [Weygant]

He married (1) LEAH (SARAH) KELLOGG. He married (2) LUCY WILLIAMS February 11, 1773. However, the Westfield records show that all the children born to Asher Sacket were by his wife Sarah Kellogg.

In the Noble Genealogy by Lucius M. Boltwood, 1878, p. 597 the age of Sally (Sackett) Noble at her death on 15 May 1826 is given as 57 years. According to this she would have been born in 1769. The Westfield records show that she was born 13 Apr 1774. This difference could be the result of misreading 52 as 57.
