Adams Cemetery – The stones in this cemetery were copied 10 April 2014 by Mathew Koogler and John Ogden.  The information was sent to Shirley Harmon by email from John Ogden.  He gave this information:  “There are 3 stones remaining from this cemetery which appears to have been larger.  This is a family farm owned by J. R. Schneeberger, a direct descendant of David and Sarah (Martin) Parks.  He said he thought the name on their original deed was Adams.  He also said that he’d been told that when Rte 565 was cut, they went through part of the cemetery destroying graves and stones.  It is obvious this was a larger cemetery at one time; there are possibly buried stone, and there are several footers and stone bases still existing.  It is located at the corner of Bethel Twp. 336 and Rte. 565.”
