ORIGINAL SCANS

Parish records have been translated from scans of original records. As seen in the scan above, the handwriting is challenging to decipher. Spelling varies widely - sometimes a name is spelled differently even within the same record. We’ve tried to show what the original record contains - including spelling errors & variations.

We recommend that each researcher make their own translation of these handwritten records.

Original scans may be requested, maximum of 3 scans per week. When ordering a scan, you agree not to post or share this original scan with anyone.

Please allow 2 weeks from the date of your request. A volunteer has scheduled one day per week to review requests.
