She married DANIEL WITHAM WALLS June 1928 in Marion, Indiana, son of VINTON WALLS and JENNIE CEE. He was born February 05, 1908 in Marion, Indiana, and died December 16, 1980 in Marion, Indiana.

Notes for RUTHABELLE SHOEMAKER: Her mother died when she was three years old of cancer probably cancer. She was the youngest child. The next oldest child was Ray who was nine. Her dad put her in a series of foster of homes because he could not care for her.

She lived with 13 foster families. She moved often because her father was afraid she would get attached. She lived with her sister Edna when she was 15 until she married. Foster families in Marion Indiana.

Her mothers family were farmers from Ireland . Her father received a dowry from the farm.
